Molly Jin, Secretary

Molly Jin is deeply honoured and delighted to be serving as Ontario DECA’s secretary for the 2022-2023 year. Molly is a Grade 12 student from White Oaks Secondary School and has been a part of her school’s DECA chapter since Grade 9, competing in Finance Operations Research. In Grade 11, she served a term as DECA Creative Writtens trainer and mentor. DECA has provided Molly with numerous opportunities, lifetime friends, advisors and mentors in which she is incredibly grateful for. Molly is determined to provide better opportunities for every Ontario DECA member and make this DECA season an experience of a lifetime.

Molly is heavily involved in her school community and has a strong passion for helping in any way possible in her local community. Outside of DECA, Molly is the co-president/co-founder of her school’s Brain Bee Club, co-president of HOSA, vice president of outreach for debate, and a member of the senior girls’ volleyball team. She is an intern at a longevity start-up and worked as a climate change youth researcher. Molly spends her free time volunteering for her local politician, teaching Chinese senior immigrants English and judging at debate tournaments. In her spare time, she enjoys playing volleyball, trying new bubble tea flavors and browsing for laptop stickers on Etsy.

Making year 44 amazing is at the top of Molly’s priorities and she is beyond excited to connect with members across Ontario! Feel free to reach out to Molly via social media, or through her email molly@deca.ca if you have any questions or simply want to chat.
