William Jiang is incredibly excited to be serving as Ontario DECA’s President for the 2022-2023 year. William is a grade 12 student at Bayview Secondary School and has been involved in his school’s DECA chapter since entering high school. DECA has provided William with the opportunity of a lifetime, full of unforgettable friends, mentors, and life lessons. William strives to ensure that every member succeeds and thrives through DECA.

In addition to DECA, William served as the President of his school’s Student Council, fostering a sense of unity and a platform for student advocacy throughout the community. William is also an active contributor to the volunteering community. He founded and leads his nonprofit organization, PassionFruit Youth, with the mission of connecting students of all socioeconomic backgrounds with career exposure opportunities. In his spare time, William can be found practicing his culinary skills, catching sunrises and sunsets, or hanging out with friends.
