Lukas Speranza, Events Coordinator

Lukas Speranza is a Grade 12 student at The Country Day School and is proud to hold the position of Events Coordinator for Ontario DECA for the 2026–2027 year. Lukas has competed in DECA since Grade 9 and has been actively involved in the community. In his first two years, he qualified for the provincial level, and in Grade 11, he attended ICDC where he finished 2nd in his event and was awarded glass. These experiences have played a defining role in shaping his high school journey, fueling both his personal and professional growth. Lukas is excited to give back to the organization that has had such a meaningful impact on him and looks forward to supporting and enhancing the DECA experience for others.

Beyond DECA, Lukas participates in multiple initiatives in his school and local community. As a member of his school’s Student Council, he plans events that promote school spirit and encourage student participation. He previously served as a Workshop Coordinator for HOSA, where he organized and managed opportunities that aligned students with educational and career advancements in the field of healthcare. Lukas was also a co-coordinator of the Memory Drive Golf Tournament, a community fundraising event for Alzheimer’s.

Alongside his leadership involvement, Lukas has played competitive soccer his whole life and has developed a strong passion for golf. Whether it’s competing on the soccer field or trying to take a few strokes off his golf game, he enjoys staying active and improving. As a passionate sports fan, Lukas can often be found watching the Chelsea game. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching new movies, and being out on the golf course.

Lukas is thrilled to serve on Team 48 and is excited to connect with members from across Ontario and help make this DECA year one to remember.
