Donna Sanatkar, President

Donna Sanatkar is an incoming grade 12 student at St. Theresa of Lisieux CHS and is honoured to serve as the 2024-2025 President of DECA Ontario. Since joining DECA in grade 10, Donna has created invaluable memories and forged lifelong friendships throughout her competitions. Over the past two years, she has competed in TTDM, placing Top 3 at regionals during her first year, and competing at ICDC in her second. She also served as Vice President of her school's chapter, dedicating herself to supporting the community that has shaped her high school experience. This year Donna is committed to ensuring every student can enjoy the same incredible DECA experience she had. Her goal is to make DECA accessible to all students, while also introducing new resources to help every competitor reach their full potential.

Outside of DECA, Donna continues to harness her passions to make a meaningful impact on her community. As the Director of Communications at Gen-Connect, a local non-profit, she plays a crucial role in outreach, engagement, and organizing events at retirement homes throughout the GTA. Donna is also the founder of Toolkit, an organization that simplifies business concepts for students. Donna is also an active member of her school community, serving on the Diversity and Equity Council, and as the founder and president of the drama club. In her free time, Donna can be found making yet another Spotify playlists, watching indie films, and getting brunch downtown with friends!

Donna is beyond excited to be the President of Team 46, to make a meaningful contribution to DECA, and to meet all the competitors this year! If you have any questions, concerns, suggestions, or just want to chat, you can reach Donna on Instagram (@donna.sanatk) or email her at donna@deca.ca.
