Angel Ruhil is a Grade 11 student at London Central SS and is thrilled to serve as a Provincial Officer for the 2025-2026 term! She has been part of DECA since Grade 9
and has served as the Vice President of her chapter. Angel has competed in the written category, focusing on project management events such as PMFL and PMCD. Her
favourite DECA memory has been attending ICDC, where she had the opportunity to meet incredible people from across the world. She believes that DECA is more than just
competition, it’s about building meaningful connections, discovering your potential, and growing within a community that both challenges and empowers you.
Outside of DECA, Angel is passionate about health economics, which blends her two interests, economics and public health. This has led her to conduct research at the
University of Toronto and McMaster University in two areas: pharma-economics, where she focuses on cost-minimization analyses for treatment sequences, and service
intensity outcomes in psychiatric care. She is a published author within this field and continues to work toward improving healthcare efficiency and access. She also serves
as the co-chair of her local hospital network’s Youth Advisory Council, providing consultation to improve pediatric care. In her free time, she enjoys practicing her golf shots, binge-watching movies, and exploring new restaurants as an avid foodie.
Angel is dedicated to serving every DECA member with care and enthusiasm, making sure this year is an unforgettable experience for all. To her, DECA is all about
connection: the friendships you form, the mentors who guide you, and the moments that remind you you’re not alone in your journey. She’s committed to building a community where everyone feels seen and supported. If you have any questions, ideas, or simply want to connect, feel free to reach out to her at angel@deca.ca, on Instagram (@angel.ruhil.888), or via LinkedIn (@angelruhil)—she’s always happy to chat.
