Jia Dhillon is honoured to serve as the Events Coordinator for Ontario DECA this year. Jia is a grade 12 student in the IBT program at North Park Secondary School, and has been an active member of DECA since grade 9. She has served as an Executive for her schools chapter for the past two years, her most recent role being Vice-President. Jia has trained students in both Marketing and Hospitality & Tourism events, and she has competed in both oral and written categories. Last year, she advanced to ICDC and received a medal for her sales presentation on the international stage. DECA has provided Jia with numerous opportunities to showcase her leadership skills and passion for business, as well as network and connect with like-minded individuals. As a Provincial Officer, she strives to create an environment where DECA members across Ontario can learn and grow as leaders. 

Outside of DECA, Jia participates in events with the Ontario Mock Trial Alliance, a non-profit organization that hosts conferences, events and competitions for students passionate about law. She also teaches swimming lessons. In her spare time, you can find Jia listening to Taylor Swift, making bracelets, or rewatching her favourite shows.
