Stanley Zhou is a grade 12 student at Marc Garneau Collegiate Institute and is thrilled to serve Ontario DECA as a Sponsorship Coordinator during the 2025 – 2026 term. Since joining DECA in grade 10, Stanley has been an involved member both within his own chapter as well as on various competitive stages. He has previously competed in the Business Finance Series event, placing  as a top 10 finalist at the DECA International Career Development Conference. He is also a Training executive in the Marc Garneau DECA chapter, helping members to succeed in finance cluster events. Through DECA, Stanley has been able to form long-lasting friendships and memories, and he is determined to create the most fruitful environment possible for DECA members this year. 

Apart from his DECA commitments, Stanley is passionate about research in the fields of economics and political science. He has worked as a researcher in both academic and institutional contexts, and frequently collaborates with professors, policy makers, and macroeconomics-based investors. Stanley is also a competitive swimmer, having helped to restart the swim team at Marc Garneau and leading the team to compete at regional and provincial level competitions. During his free time, Stanley enjoys discovering new music, learning about entrepreneurship, and catching up on some much needed sleep.
