Ethan Ping is a Grade 12 student at Mentor College in Mississauga and is excited to serve as Membership Engagement Officer for Ontario DECA in the 2026–2027 year. Ethan joined DECA in Grade 10 and has represented Ontario at ICDC in both years he has been a member. Beyond competing, he found himself just as drawn to the training and leadership side of things, taking on a chapter executive role where he led training initiatives, contributed across a range of chapter operations, and helped coordinate the planning and logistics of inter-chapter events. Ontario DECA is where he developed the confidence, problem-solving instincts, and leadership skills that have carried into everything else he does. As Membership Engagement Officer, he is committed to making sure members across Ontario have every opportunity to find that same growth.

Beyond DECA, Ethan has a passion for debate and public speaking, competing across various circuits and serving as a leader in school teams. He also served as Co-President of his school’s FBLC chapter.

In his free time, you can find Ethan watching short documentaries, competing in the daily LinkedIn puzzle games, or playing various instruments.

Ethan is honoured to serve on Team 48 and is looking forward to connecting with chapters and members across the province, supporting their growth through new initiatives, and doing his part to make this year the best one yet.
