Susanna Li, Secretary

Susanna Li is a Grade 12 student at Bayview Secondary School and is honoured to serve as secretary for Ontario DECA during the 2026-2027 year. Since joining DECA in Grade 9, Susanna has been an active member of her chapter, serving on the executive team, supporting training initiatives, and helping foster a strong and welcoming chapter culture. She has also represented Ontario DECA at the International Career Development Conference (ICDC) for the past two years, earning a Top 10 international finish and creating countless memories along the way. Additionally, Susanna served on Ontario DECA’s Masters Council, where she contributed to the development of training resources and workshops to help members prepare for competition. DECA has been one of the most impactful parts of her high school experience, providing her with lifelong friendships, invaluable opportunities, and unforgettable memories. This year, she is excited to give back to the organization that has given her so much by helping members grow, succeed, and find their place within the Ontario DECA community.

Outside of DECA, Susanna is passionate about leadership, entrepreneurship, and creating opportunities for young people. She is also involved with CapitalHER, helping provide resources and opportunities for young women around the world. In addition, Susanna is an avid debater who has competed at international tournaments and enjoys exploring global issues through public speaking and discussion. She is also a proud member of her school’s golf team. In her free time, you can find Susanna trying new foods, searching for the perfect café to study in, travelling to experience different cultures, or spending time with friends and family.

Susanna is incredibly excited to serve on Team 48 and looks forward to connecting with members across the province, celebrating their successes, and helping create an unforgettable DECA experience for everyone.
