April He is a Grade 12 student attending St. Robert CHS and is honoured to serve as Secretary for Ontario DECA during the 2025-2026 year. Since Grade 9, April has played an active role in her school’s DECA chapter, having represented Ontario across the ICDC stage and previously serving as the Hospitality and Tourism Cluster Coordinator. She has also served two terms on Ontario DECA’s Masters Council, curating training resources and leading workshops to prepare competitors for all levels of competition. Over the years, DECA has provided her with unforgettable memories and the opportunity to forge friendships that will last a lifetime. This year, April is determined to uplift and empower members all across Ontario and help them reach their full potential! Beyond DECA, April strives to remain actively involved in both her school and local community. She aims to enhance financial literacy education among youth across provinces, as exemplified through her leadership role at Target Alpha Canada. Within her executive role in the Social Justice Council, she also raises awareness and fundraises for real-world injustices, donating all proceeds towards meaningful causes. Additionally, April also serves on the executive team for her school’s HOSA chapter and PuMP Toronto, working to bridge the gap between high school students and healthcare opportunities in the medical field. In her spare time, you can find her unwinding through late-night calls with friends, taking mid-day naps, or discovering the newest cafes in downtown Toronto! April is thrilled to serve on Team 47 and cannot wait to contribute to an unforgettable year of growth, competition, and community.
