Carter Florence is a Grade 12 student at Centennial CVI and looks forward to serving as one of your Chapter Engagement Officers for the 2025-2026 year. Since joining DECA in Grade 9, Carter has competed in Principles of Finance and Personal Financial Literacy, where he has participated at each conference level. Carter previously held the position of Co-President at Centennial DECA, where he worked with his fellow executives and advisors to help make for an unforgettable season. The experience gained from DECA has strengthened his communication skills, enhanced his business acumen, and created lasting memories.

Outside of DECA, Carter teaches Bronze-level leadership courses. He runs a successful property maintenance business, overseeing several weekly contracts and a team of two employees. Carter is an active stock trader and has a passion for finance and international business. In his spare time, you can find Carter skiing, learning Spanish, and trying (mostly failing) to improve his golf swing.
