Abigail Conley is thrilled to serve as Ontario DECA’s Outreach and Engagement Officer this year. A grade 12 student at Westmount Secondary School, Abigail has been an active DECA participant since grade 9, previously holding roles on her chapter executive and serving as her school’s Co-President this past year. Throughout her DECA journey, she has created lifelong memories and enjoyed every moment of motivating students to excel in competition and beyond. She is eager to extend her passion and dedication to the provincial level.
Beyond DECA, Abigail is deeply involved in her local community. She is passionate about the intersection of business and healthcare and is currently serving as an Advocacy Officer for Period Ontario. In this role, she works to implement menstruation curriculum changes in Ontario and collaborates with MPPs and Trustees to ensure change. Abigail additionally has a strong interest in art and community development. She is currently actively working on developing a magazine and a community platform dedicated to promoting young creatives in the GTA. This initiative focuses on fashion, essays, and photography, providing a space for young individuals to showcase their work and share their thoughts. When she’s not busy with these commitments, you might find Abigail listening to Laufey on repeat, attempting to make a perfect cup of matcha, or studying with friends.
She is excited to be a part of Team 46 and is committed to making this year unforgettable for all members. Abigail looks forward to connecting with students and chapter leaders across Ontario!
