Alan Zhang is thrilled to serve as Ontario DECA’s Events Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year! Alan is a Grade 12 student at Richmond Hill High School and has been a part of his DECA chapter since Grade 9, most recently serving as the Head of Orals. Last year, he served on Ontario DECA’s Masters Council, leading training workshops and province-wide initiatives to support competitors all across Ontario. DECA has provided Alan with unparalleled opportunities to grow as both a person and a leader. Through DECA, he’s made lifelong memories and he’s committed to providing that same experience for every Ontario DECA member.

Outside of DECA, Alan is involved with several non-profit organizations, like Target Alpha, Marketyze, and FUSE Society. In these roles, Alan plans exciting events for students, ranging from thrilling case competitions to educational workshops. He’s extremely passionate about helping others and also serves as an active volunteer in his community. When he’s not busy, you might find Alan playing basketball at the park, chatting with friends, or sleeping!
