Grace is Grace Qiu is a current grade 11 student at Waterloo Collegiate Institute. It is Grace’s second year as a DECA member, and she is thrilled to serve in the Chapter Development Officer role! Having attended the International Career Development Conference in April, Grace has found a passion for business while taking an incredible journey through DECA. Driven by this excitement, Grace is eager to contribute to the growth of fellow Ontario DECA members as both learners and leaders!

Beyond DECA, Grace is actively involved as a member of her community. She finds inherent beauty in constructing arguments and proudly serves as President of the Waterloo Collegiate Institute Debate Club. Moreover, as a Co-Founder of her school's newspaper, Grace explores the art of journalism and storytelling, striving to provide readers with insightful narratives. Finally, Grace dedicates a lot of time to HomeworkHub, a non-profit organization that provides tutoring services to students across Canada. In addition to actively tutoring, she plays a role in securing grants, orchestrating marketing efforts, and overseeing the quality of services rendered. When not busy with these commitments, you can find Grace capturing moments through photography, playing tennis, or listening to the same songs over and over and over again.
