Kushi Iyer is honoured to serve as Events Coordinator for Ontario DECA this year. Kushi is a grade 12 student at Turner Fenton Secondary School and has been involved in DECA since grade 9. Since then, Kushi has been a member of her school’s DECA executive team, continuing to share her knowledge with current chapter members. Ontario DECA has given Kushi the opportunity to gain new skills and connect with her peers. She hopes to create an engaging environment for students across the province!

Alongside DECA, Kushi is an active member of her community. This is demonstrated through her passion for dance, where she mentors younger students at the studio alongside her own training. Kushi actively participates in leadership initiatives at school through various executive roles and mentorship conferences. Kushi is also an avid writer, expressing her love for storytelling and poetry through her published works.
