Lucy Duncan, Branding & Communications

Lucy Duncan is very excited to serve as one of Ontario DECA’s Branding and Communications Officers this year. Lucy is a grade 12 student at Bear Creek Secondary School. She has competed in DECA since grade 9, and has served on her chapter executive for the past two years. As part of her school’s first ICDC qualifying team, she hopes to inspire students across the province to reach for their goals. She is incredibly grateful to Ontario DECA for the opportunities for growth and for introducing her to some of her best friends!

Outside of DECA, Lucy is passionate about affecting social change and bettering her community. As the Acting Director of the Simcoe County Environmental Youth Alliance, Lucy has had the opportunity to advocate for ambitious climate action and work with local governments to enact environmental policy. She currently serves as student trustee, a position that allows her to advocate for the interests of students at her school board and at a provincial level. She loves rugby, musical theatre, and playing the bass!

For inquiries, advice, or just someone to chat with, feel free to connect with Lucy via email at lucy@deca.ca. Lucy can’t wait to make Ontario DECA’s 45th anniversary the best year yet.
